Senior React/Node Engineer.

iGaming client looking for Senior Full Stack JavaScript Engineer

• Fully Remote role with the option to work on a Hybrid basis from offices in Malta.

Salary: €65k - €80k

 

You will join a cross-functional team, taking hold of the whole development life cycle from idea to deployment, utilising both frontend (React) and backend (Node) technologies on their newly created cloud-native gaming platform.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product team to create high-level and engaging solutions.
• Understand the current application and suggest changes to it.
• Maintain existing React systems, including fixing bugs.
• Design and develop new React custom components to meet project requirements.
• Create both client-side and server-side architecture.
• Design and develop effective API.
• Scale their serverless platform and infrastructure.

 

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience utilising both ReactJS and NodeJS.
• Best practice with TDD, BDD, Unit and Functional Testing in JavaScript.
• Cloud experience (AWS services - API Gateway, Cloudwatch and Event Bridge, ECS and Fargate, Lambda, SNS, Cognito, S3)
• Experience with containerised environments (Docker)
• Familiarity with MySQL/MariaDB and Redis (it is a plus if with AWS RDS and ElasticCache).
