A Global Leader in Gaming Technology is currently looking for an experienced Risk Control Manager to join their very exciting international team. This is an initial remote role and will become a hybrid in Sao Paulo. Also, will be necessary international travelling.

As a Risk Control Manager, your role would involve assessing and managing the risks associated with different types of betting activities.  This could include assessing risks related to sports betting, casino games, online gaming or any other betting products offered in the specific regions you are responsible for.  You will be responsible for leading a team of risk management professionals and ensuring that the company's risk management practices are in line with industry standards, the latest trends, and regulations for all our markets.

  • Investigation and Incident Management:  Lead investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, including gathering evidence, conducting interviews, and collaborating with external and internal parties as required.  Maintain proper documentation of incidents, investigations, and outcomes. Develop and execute appropriate actions and sanctions against individuals involved in fraudulent activities, in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Risk Assessment:  Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats related to fraud activity.  Develop and implement effective risk mitigation policies and procedures. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and regulatory requirements related to risk and fraud management in the I-Gaming industry.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the company's risk management practices are in line with industry standards and regulations of each market.
  • Risk Monitoring and Reporting:  Establish and maintain key risk indicators to monitor fraud-related risks on an ongoing basis. Generate regular reports and provide analysis to senior management on risk trends, fraud incidents and the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures. Present findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Team   Management: You will be leading a   team of risk management professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their job effectively and the platform needed in order to conduct fraud investigations and deal with suspected fraudsters with the goal of safeguarding the business and its customers from financial or other types of fraud.

  • Extensive experience in risk management and fraud prevention within the I-Gaming industry or related sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of fraud prevention tools, technologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify patterns of fraudulent activities.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the I-Gaming industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultures.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including experience in managing teams and driving results.

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, high integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
