My client, a leading Game Development Company in the iGaming industry, is hiring an Principal Solution Architect to join their team on a remote basis in USA or Canada.

In this senior leadership role, the Principal Technical Solutions Architect will be pivotal in shaping and optimizing the technological framework supporting the company’s growth. This position entails architecting robust, scalable systems and creating a technical roadmap that reflects the long-term vision, ensuring competitive advantages in the iGaming space. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role is instrumental in transforming business requirements into advanced, effective technical solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable technology solutions that align with business goals.
  • Develop process automation and AI-driven solutions, optimizing operational processes after thorough needs assessment.
  • Lead discovery workshops, gathering insights to guide stakeholders towards efficient technology solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying sub-optimal solutions and proposing optimizations for efficiency and user experience.
  • Coordinate with tech leads to deliver solutions balancing operational efficiency with maintainability.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to governance, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Engage stakeholders, aligning technical solutions with business objectives and translating complex concepts for varied audiences.
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap, researching emerging technologies to inform strategy.
  • Take full ownership of end-to-end solution delivery, from concept through to deployment.

Desired Experience & Skillset:

  • 5+ years as a Solutions Architect or similar, ideally with leadership capabilities at a senior or director level.
  • Expertise in scalable, enterprise-grade architecture, particularly within high-transaction or legacy integration scenarios.
  • Strong background in Domain-Driven Design, microservices, event-driven architectures, and Google Cloud Platform (or other cloud tech).
  • Experience with persistence technologies like Hazelcast, Cassandra, and MySQL, as well as Java, Python, or Kafka.
  • Solid knowledge of multi-tier web architecture and API management for comprehensive, integrated solutions.
  • Excellent communication and mentorship abilities, including diagramming (C4/UML) and guiding both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven adaptability to emerging technologies, fostering an inclusive and forward-thinking work environment.
