Our client is a modern and thriving local sportsbook in Las Vegas that since their establishment has quickly earned a reputation for fairness and excellence in the industry. Job Summary:
As a Payments Manager, you will support the Customer Service Department and Sportsbook Accounting Department to address player concerns related to deposits, withdrawals, and account balances. Working closely with the Sportsbook Strategic Operations Manager, you'll engage with payment vendors to manage current and future payment options.

Other responsibilities include advising the Customer Service Manager on resolving player payment issues and ensuring compliance with company Service Standards. Upholding the established Policies and Procedures within the Sportsbook Department, you will contribute to maintaining a seamless and customer-centric experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with third-party payment vendors as necessary to seek resolution for specific issues
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with payment providers.
  • Provide updates and advice to the Customer Support Manager on the status of player payment disputes
  • Resolve payment-related issues within specified timelines.
  • Utilize backend payment portals to monitor deposits, withdrawals, and financial reporting related to player accounts.
  • Liaise with the Finance department to support in cases of chargebacks.
  • Partner with the Accounting Manager and Sportsbook Operations Management team to facilitate disbursement returns and account adjustments.
  • Practice and promote the Company Service Practices.
  • Demonstrate a constructive and professional demeanor when engaging with team members and guests.
  • Stay informed about industry payment offerings and collaborate with third-party vendors to incorporate additional payment methods.
  • Perform any other essential job functions as needed.

  • Minimum of one (1) year previous Payment Management and/or Sportsbook Accounting experience preferred.
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Meets the minimum age requirement of 21 years
  • Written and verbal proficiency to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management.
  • Capable of establishing and sustaining productive working relationships with both team members and guests.
  • Demonstrated prior experience in a role specializing in payments.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Adherence to and understanding of all company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Sports betting industry knowledge.
  • Must be able to maintain Gaming work card.
