PHP Developer.

We are seeking a talented PHP Developer to join a highly efficient development team in Cape Town. If you are passionate about writing clean PHP code to high standards and enjoy working with Vanilla PHP, this role is for you. Collaborate with other developers, the Lead Developer, and Product Owner to contribute to the entire development lifecycle and enhance the code-base of the company's products.

Responsibilities:

Develop and architect PHP code based on specifications provided by the development lead.

Collaborate with the team on projects, contributing to defined sprints and deploying new features as needed.

Support projects through testing, reviewing, and fixing defects to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Design and deliver scalable, secure code to enhance our digital offerings.

Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases to ensure optimal functionality.

Work in an agile software development environment with an international team and customers across different time zones.

Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, following best practices and methodologies.

 

Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant experience as a PHP Developer.

Proficiency in PHP 8, MySQL, Sass, Vue.js, Git, and REST.

Fluent in English.
