A new startup in partnership with a large north American IGaming Corporation, which will focus on becoming a leading sports betting operator in the Brazilian market are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Director to join their team. This role will be based in Sao Paulo
With the anticipated regulation of the industry within the next year, they are preparing to apply for a license and make their mark in this fast-growing sector.
As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals, ensuring our brand becomes a recognized and trusted name in the sports betting industry.
- Managing the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve optimal ROI across various marketing channels.
- Acquiring players through innovative and targeted campaigns, ensuring a consistent and engaging customer experience.
- Managing a media buying agency to maximize our advertising reach and effectiveness.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to develop and execute promotional campaigns, partnerships, and sponsorships that drive brand awareness and user acquisition.
- Managing the development and growth of the marketing team based in São Paulo, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Staying current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in the sports betting or gaming industry is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive user acquisition and revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decision-making.
- Experience managing media buying agencies and negotiating advertising contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (both written and spoken) is required.
