My Client in the Fintech industry is looking for a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to be working alongside their Lead DevOps Engineer as the company is growing.

- Performance and reliability of the company's online platforms.
- Availability management, latency, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshooting issues via proactive and reactive monitoring and alerts using observability tooling and logging service requests
- Enhancing the tech stack/configurations of existing services to improve site performance and reduce issues.
- Document internal devops infrastructure, processes, tooling and configuration.
- Exploring and delivering on opportunities to implement automation and scripting of services, environments and toolsets.
- Promoting transparent agile processes - gathering data and reporting progress.
- Collaborating closely with different teams (software development, QA, support, IT operations), stakeholders and wider teams, explaining complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with the technology teams, stakeholders and wider teams to achieve our ambitious goals, explaining complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Gaining exposure to company's technical teams, working closely with software development, QA, support, IT operations.
Requirements
- Experience with AWS supporting a production environment
- Experience with Linux
- Strong experience with Docker and Terraform
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins)
- Nginx
- Strong MySQL experience
- Knowledge of Bash scripting
- Experience of infrastructure automation tooling
- Working within an Agile environment
- Search/Cache platforms (ElasticSearch, Solr, memcached, Redis)
- Observability/APM Platforms (New Relic, Better Uptime, etc)
