Java Software Engineer – Berlin or 100% remote.

My client who is in the iGaming/Gambling industry is looking for a Java developer to join the growing team to work in Berlin or 100% remote from Germany.

They have more than 130 published online games for the casino segment, in 35 countries around the world. 

The right candidate will be developing the games and working on online casino connections and the associated infrastructure.

Your experience:
4+ years of professional experience with one of the following programming languages: Java, Kotlin or Golang.
Strong good know-how in object-oriented programming. 
Strong experience with Microservices and REST, Gitlab, Build Pipelines, Docker.
Fluent in German (C1) and good English (B2).

Nice to have:
Ideally, you have experience or knowledge of Cloud, (AWS, GCP or Azure).

Your responsibilities include:
The strategic orientation of our software architectures over the entire project life cycle.
Work on improving the quality and structure of the code base.
Design a comprehensive test coverage, especially in security-critical areas.

You will have:
Your own independent way of working and define quality as a success factor.
To follow clean code principles and use design patterns.
To work using agile methods.
To provide support in the Operations area and independently implement CI/CD pipelines, among other things.
