My client, a leading company in the
IT sector, is looking for an IT Support Administrator
to join their team on-site
Our client is an independently managed IT services provider boasting a remarkable track record and years of demonstrable expertise.
They are dedicated to creating and upholding state-of-the-art, dependable, and efficient business IT networks, harnessing a diverse range of innovative cloud-first technologies.
This role requires occasional travel to client locations, typically twice a week. My client will provide you with a company vehicle and a mobile phone. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license to be considered.
- Configure and maintain client devices, ensuring they are updated and secure.
- Manage and troubleshoot Office 365, collaborating with users to address their needs.
- Familiarity with Veeam Backup Solutions is a plus.
- Set up monitoring tools to identify and address potential IT issues.
- Maintain desktops, operating systems, and applications in line with industry and security standards.
- Minimize disruptions and ensure peak performance through proactive planning, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
- Assist with network administration, including basic network equipment setup.
- Maintain accurate IT system documentation.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and address IT-related inquiries.
Desired experience and skillset:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Proven hardware configuration and management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Windows, and Mac OS X admin. Printer skills are a plus.
- Experience with IT infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in deploying and managing Windows desktops and Macbooks.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA) are advantageous.
- Maltese driving license required.
