The 10-person marketing department plays a crucial role in driving and supporting the continuing growth and premium positioning. The team is responsible for defining the offering to optimally meet the industry’s evolving needs while ensuring maximum awareness, preference, conversion, and loyalty among its target audiences worldwide.
With an expanding portfolio of events and media, the marketing team is evolving to meet new challenges. This role presents an exciting opportunity to take ownership of high-impact digital marketing initiatives, drive brand awareness, and shape regional presence in the LatAm gambling and gaming industry.
The Digital Marketing Manager, LatAm will work closely with the VP Marketing - Americas, the Marketing Manager (Americas), and the 8-person European marketing team, while also collaborating across departments to ensure strategic alignment. The position demands a strategic, independent, and results-driven professional who can develop and execute marketing strategies, drive engagement, and measure impact.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & Marketing Automation
- Optimise and enhance marketing automation, and lead generation through HubSpot - in collaboration with Digital Marketing Director
- Develop, execute, and track email marketing campaigns to generate leads and promote event attendance.
- Analyse email marketing performance metrics, providing actionable insights and implement ongoing refinements and optimizations - to improve that performance
Event Marketing & Lead Generation
- Take ownership of achieving set ticket sales targets for Events in Brazil and LatAm.
- Develop, drive and implement marketing output and campaign elements - suitable for regional target audiences with the goal to generate quality and verified business leads
- Apply regional and cultural knowledge and understanding to the development of marketing strategies and communication to optimise engagement and retention for relevant geo-specific audiences
- Provide marketing and communication coverage and promotion around key networking meetups and industry gatherings
Social Media & Content Strategy
- Manage all Brazilian social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, TikTok) and output with a year-round content calendar
- Create and schedule posts in Brazilian Portuguese, engage with followers, and manage online communities.
- Work with the content marketing team to help tailor and refine messaging to Brazilian audiences for implementation across all digital marketing channels
- Monitor social media trends and competitors' digital strategies, making campaign recommendations.
Copywriting & Content Creation
- Write compelling, localized marketing copy for a variety of channels, including email campaigns, website content, social media posts, event brochures, and press releases.
- Develop targeted messaging for different audience segments within the industry, including primary stakeholders like operators, affiliates and suppliers.
- Ensure all written materials align with brand voice and tone while resonating with relevant (Brazil / Latam) audiences.
- Adapt content strategies to reflect regional trends and cultural nuances, optimizing engagement and conversions.
- Collaborate with designers and multimedia teams to create engaging marketing assets.
- In collaboration with Content Marketing team - help analyze content performance and refine strategies based on engagement and conversion metrics
Media Partnerships & Advertising
- Support UK-based media partnerships manager with coordination and communication with media partnerships in Brazil and Latam
- Monitor competitor digital and above-the-line advertising activities and recommend strategic responses.
Event Representation & Networking
- Contribute suggestions and input to a 12-month event calendar for industry trade shows, conferences, and association meetings.
- Attend industry events across Brazil alongside the Brazilian sales and relationship team - with the purpose of increasing regional industry and stakeholder understanding and keep tabs on competitor strategies and activities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with media partners, government entities (TurisRio, Government Rio), and key industry stakeholders.
An ideal profile might look like:
- Extensive knowledge of the Brazilian market and regional audience groups, including cultural and audience-specific engagement and behavior patterns as well as regulatory nuances impacting marketing strategies
- Proven experience in digital marketing, particularly within the gambling/iGaming industry (preferred).
- Strong project management skills, capable of independently driving marketing initiatives.
- Exceptional copywriting skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, engaging, and localized content for multiple channels.
- Ability to develop and tailor communication channels, messaging strategies, and audience segmentation.
- Experience in mapping and driving strategies while also handling hands-on campaign execution.
- Ability to analyze audience segments, including operators, affiliates and suppliers, as well as tailor communication accordingly.
- Strategic mindset: able to advise on marketing strategies, challenge assumptions, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills to build strong industry partnerships.
- Native Brazilian Portuguese speaker with excellent business level English; Spanish proficiency is a strong advantage.
