Devops Engineer.

ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a talented and self-motivated DevOps Engineer, to join our continuous growing team. The successful candidate will maintaining production system deployments and will collaborate closely with Developers. The successful candidate will be working full time and fully remote.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a variety of services.
• Cooperate with developers and QA engineers to solve problems that arise during service operation.
• Investigate incidents and tackle problems related to services.
• Managing the databases.
• Setup modern security practices for all the steps of the software development/delivery process.

Security and Compliance are key to what we do:

• Develop and implement software and services that meet international standards like PCI DSS, and European regulatory requirements.
• Working closely with the Security/Compliance teams (Security & Privacy)

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of Hands-on experience in at least one major public cloud platform (preferably AWS/Azure)
• 3+ years of experience with IaC such a Terraform (preferred).
• Experience with Python/ PowerShell / Linux shell scripting (bash) and automation.
• Experience implementing CI/CD for code and infrastructure with Git, Docker, and Jenkins pipeline.
• Understanding of TCP/IP Networking, routing, and VPN technologies.
• Experienced with enterprise-level networks including basic protocols, routing, and switching.
• High level of problem-solving skills and debugging of high-complexity systems
• Team player.

Desirable Experience:

• Payments, core banking, risk, or other fintech experience.
• Operating in a SaaS model in a 24x7 environment.
• Designing and delivering high availability systems.
• Implementing security in Public Cloud Infrastructure & public facing APIs
• Deploying, operating, and diagnosing software written in PHP  (Laravel) and REST.
• Work with database: MySQL.
• Engineering or Computer Science Degree or Advanced Certificates

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc/MSc in computer science, engineering, or any other relevant degree.
• 3+ years of hands-on experiences in cloud solutions (AWS or other).
• Excellent knowledge of systems (Linux, windows), networking (DNS, routing)
• Excellent programming skill in scripting languages like Bash or python.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker-compose, and Docker files.
• Experience with CI/CD systems.
• Experience in configuration tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with Gitlab.
• Previous work in FinTech will be considered as an advantage.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Must be flexible and willing to work out of hours for emergency support.
• A team player willing to share his knowledge and help to promote team members.
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal abilities, communication skills, and time management.
