My Client in the FinTech industry is looking for an experienced DevOps Team Lead to join their IT team in Dublin.
You will take ownership of the DevOps processes and procedures. Experience in database administration would be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
• Leading the DevOps team
• Being the SME for the platform and related systems
• Maintaining and developing the environments used to develop, deliver and host the core business applications
• Working with the internal teams to ensure successful delivery of product releases with minimum or no downtime, minimising deployment errors and rollbacks
• Ensuring the CI/CD pipelines are optimised
• Scheduling, coordination, and management of releases for all applications
• Review, audit and document our deployment processes and environments
• Ensuring procedural and system documentation is kept up to date and relevant
• Following best practice change management processes and procedures
• Working with the developers, QA, IT and business stake holders to identify release dependencies
• Identifying, troubleshooting, resolving and documenting issues and outages in environment systems
• Assisting with application and system monitoring and maintenance
• Assisting with stress testing, benchmarking and security audits
• Analysing system logs and identifying potential issues & troubleshooting application and system logs
• Working with the security teams to ensure security best practices and compliance standards are adhered to in line with PCI-DSS and ISO27001
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in a team leadership / management role
• Experience with Linux system administration (Centos preferred)
• Strong CI/CD skills using Jenkins and Rundeck systems
• Very strong Docker knowledge
• Strong SALT configuration management experience
• Strong scripting (Perl, Shell, Python) skills
• Strong NGINX skills
• Extensive knowledge of release management principles and methodologies
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience of AWS cloud environments
• Experience working in a PCI/financial services environment is a plus!
