My client, a dynamic and innovative company that develops cutting-edge platforms and software solutions, is looking for an skilled Database Administrator to join their team remotely. 

The Database Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the company's databases, with a primary focus on managing and maintaining MariaDB/MySQL configurations. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain MariaDB/MySQL database configurations to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues and provide recommendations to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure database systems are up-to-date with the latest versions and security patches.
• Implement and enhance database availability, reliability, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with the development team to design and optimize data structures.
• Monitor database performance and provide suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing database architectures.
• Strong proficiency in Linux, databases, and open-source software.
• In-depth understanding of MariaDB/MySQL administration.
• Expertise in SQL queries, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Fluent in English.
