My Client who is an online casino technology and services company is looking for Build/Release Engineer to join their fully remote SRE Team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Look after the infrastructure and tools required for all the build processes
  • Work with all the technical team on better automation 
  • Work with the various development teams to enhance and maintain all the build processes
  • Advise developers so they continually improve how they tackle creating new things
  • Work with senior technical people to decide what's important to focus on

 

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Linux shell scripting and system administration
  • Experience working in DevOps environment to automate all the things
  • Experience putting together build tooling for a multiple team organization
  • Familiarity with build tools for Java/Scala applications
  • Good understanding of build dependencies based on Maven/Ivy and integration of private artifact repositories (e.g. Github Package Registry)
  • Previous experience building Docker images
  • Expertise in at least one major CI system (CircleCI and/or Jenkins is an advantage)
  • Experience setting up conventions for building new services within an organization regularly creating new services

  • Node and/or Angular based build tools
  • Cloud servers to run complex build pipelines
  • Jenkins
  • CircleCI
  • ECR
