Scope of the Role:

The successful candidate will lead a team of Traders in carrying out their Pricing, Risk management and Customer analysis responsibilities, overseeing the operational delivery of a range of Sports that are either traded inhouse or provided by 3rd party feeds.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the US Trading team in Trading, Risk management and Customer analysis
  • Demonstrate true ownership and understanding of the elements of operating a successful US Trading desk
  • Develop the US Trading team through recruitment and professional implementation of performance management best practice
  • Collaborate with the Head of Trading to ensure the high standards of a professional Trading team continue to be met
  • Actively help facilitate a culture of high challenge and high support within Trading
  • Ensure the US Trading function operates efficiently and astutely with the department’s output closely aligned to the strategic and commercial priorities
  • Identify problems and inefficiencies, ensuring they are owned and managed effectively until a resolution is found
  • Analyse product performance, ensuring output is contextualised and issues are identified

Prioritise ensuring development plans are maintained and communicated to all traders, prioritising honesty and transparency in feedback
