Software Development client looking for a Software Support Engineer

  • Hybrid working pattern – Minimum 1 day a week from the Office

  • Up to €4,500 Personal Training budget.

  • Form part of well established group with over +20 years of industry experience.

Salary: €25k - €40k

This role is based on standard office hours (Monday to Friday)

You would be joining a team of Microsoft experts in Malta, to help support and implement on-premise and cloud integration solutions for their high calibre clients once a project has been delivered.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer 2nd line support to our platform on application level, escalate and resolve cases promptly.

  • Developing change requests for existing solutions (usually bugfixes or improvements).

  • Support via a service management tool, telephone, email, or any other internal communication tool.

  • Proactively work on improving the procedures to enhance our service delivery processes.

  • Perform system monitoring and act when necessary.

  • Implement scripts to fix data.

  • You’re always learning about new and relevant technologies and don’t hesitate to share your insights.

  • Form a part of a specialist’s team, available 24/7 (including being available on “standby”).

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding with one or more of the following:  NET Framework, C#, Web Services, SQL Server, Azure.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritization, especially in high-stress situations

  • Knowledge of cloud patterns and Kubernetes are not a requirement but considered a plus.
