Job Function:
Responsible for maintaining and growing social media presence across varied platforms and channels within the UK. Capturing of content and rolling out of social media strategy as per UK standards and compliance.

Job Description:
Duties
  • Create and manage the social channels across the UK and Ireland.
  • Implementation of UK strategy for social media across the specific channels.
  • Responsible for the capturing of content by means of attending the various events in and around the UK and Ireland.
  • Responsible for the growth of the various social media platforms for UK and Ireland.
  • Analysing on a monthly basis the competitor trends across the Top 5 and amongst the various sports and casino’s.
  • Analysing of competitor content and reassessing the company's strategy accordingly.
  • Implementation of various tools required for the business to assist in the growth of social media on behalf of the company.
  • Meeting with Stake Holders/Sponsored jockeys in order to plan strategy.
  • Working closely with the digital/content team in South Africa.
  • Copywriting and editing work sent in by writers.
  • Copywriting and editing content for the company's website, Social Responsibility website and soccer sponsorship website.
  • Assessing and checking of content across all channels and ensure all tools are in a working order.
  • Able to access social media platforms via your cellphone as and when required.
  • Analysing of various groups across social media channels in order to market the business.
  • Excellent knowledge of the company's culture and UK standards, rules and regulations.
  • Identify ways to maximize and leverage social content in all forms of marketing.
  • Good understanding of sports betting and the betting environment in order to create the best content.
  • Understanding of what is trending across the UK and Ireland.
  • Identify new/emerging social platforms that serve the goals of the company and keep management informed.
  • Find opportunities to promote our social media channels online and offline
  • Any other ad hoc duties that might be required from time to time.

Qualifications
  • Preferably Diploma/Degree in Social Media/Marketing

Required:
  • Overtime and weekend work
  • Must reside in the UK
