Senior Java Software Engineer - Slovenia

My Client in the Gaming industry is looking for a Senior Java Developer to drive the development of core backend services for their games. They are building modern, scalable backend apps for over 400 million users. 

Main Tasks

• Architecture, planning, development, and maintenance of backend applications

• Pushing the latest cloud technologies to their limits

• Participating in knowledge-sharing sessions

• Being a technical mentor for other backend team members

Your experience

• Excellent programming skills in Java

• Experience mentoring more junior team members 

• Good knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python)

• Experience building scalable server-side architecture using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP...)

• CI/CD tooling knowledge is a plus (Jenkins, CircleCI...)

• Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform experience is a plus.

• Experience using good software engineering practices (e.g. code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration...)
