SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER

RGS (Remote Game Service) and Game Client deployments, integrations and maintenance containing all and any components, and or any role, task and or request made by the company including but not limited to the following:

- Create, deploy and maintain new and existing environments (DEV, QA, DEMO, STAGE and PROD)

-  Deploy game engines and clients to various environments

-  Maintain the RGS system as a whole

-  Integrate the RGS to new platforms

-  Develop RGS features and process implementation

-  Liaise with hosting company on operation and maintenance of RGS

-  Deal with live issues and queries on games

-  Co-ordinate with partners / clients for releases

-  All code in required language using internal and or clients APIs

-  Research, analyse, and report on products within existing and emerging gaming markets

-  Ensure that all software works properly and without fault (All Code and relating information tested to the related jurisdictional compliance standards)

-  Test all software to comply with company and jurisdictions in which the Company is certified

-  Oversee QA process and remove any glitches, bugs and or faults

-  Provide any other relevant software and or code when required

-  Create, supply, update, and modify all supporting documentation requested and required by the company following company policies and procedures

-  Follow and enhance existing development procedures and processes

-  Hone your skills and keep up to date with all cutting edge technologies that are constantly emerging within

-  Measure and verify that new and old code has acceptable performance and scalability

-  Consistently meet project deadline

Skill & General duties

-   Ability to program in GO-lang

-   Familiarity with TypeScript, ProtoBuf, RESTful APIs

-  Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.

-  Interpret briefs by gathering reference and information to present to Production Assistants, Team Leaders and Company Directors.

-  Using innovation to redefine a brief while still meeting the constraints of the schedule.

-  Thinking creatively to produce and present new ideas to Production Assistants, Team Leaders and Company Directors.

-  Contributing ideas and additions to the overall project briefs.

-  Producing accurate and high quality work.

-  Keeping abreast of developments in IT, particularly all relevant industry standard programs and relevant hardware.

-  Working to deadlines and schedules.

-  Multi-tasking: Team leaders may often need to work on more than one brief and or more than one component of a brief at various times.
