Senior Backend Developer – Mobile Backend

Remote (EU)

My client are expanding their core development team and are looking for a SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER, who will be responsible for developing applications for their core projects.

He/she will work with the CTO, Head of Blockchain, Technical and Product Development Teams to deliver technology solutions for our dynamically-evolving and market leading products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop applications for financial & crypto products
• Full ownership of the backend and it’s architecture
• Update, repair, modify and develop existing software and generic applications
• Test sample data-sets to check that output from the program works as intended
• Adapt the program to new requirements, as necessary
• Consult manuals, periodicals and technical reports to learn new ways to develop programs and maintain existing skills and knowledge

YOUR TECH PROFILE

• At least 5 years of experience in PHP/NodeJS/Ruby software development
• Experience in one of the following languages/frameworks PHP/NodeJS/Ruby, OOP, MVC framework – Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter, ExpressJS, Ruby on Rails, Sinatra
• Database – PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Proved experience in the fintech area (2+ years)
• Experience in bootstrapping mobile API backends
• Experience in integrating financial services SDKs and APIs
• Proactivity in the development cycle
• Experience in a Continuous Delivery environment
• Knowledge on Financial ISO 20022 and Information Security Management ISO 27001
• Experience in implementation of security features, such as 2FA, Pincode, mobile authentication match
• Agile methodologies practices
