PAYMENTS TEAM LEADER

The Payments Team Leader requires the right person to have a strong focus, leadership, communication, and organizational skills. It is the Team Leader’s responsibility to oversee the analyst’s tasks, ensure the team is working to the best of their ability and to support and mentor your team to success. You will be the key go-to person with a very strong eye for detail, analytical skills, and expert problem-solving skills to ensure the full satisfaction of our customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing the Payments team of analysts during needed business operational hours and be the first point of escalation
  • Reviewing and managing any escalated issues from Payments and other departments; resolve such issues in a timely manner in line with company agreed SLA's
  • Providing regular feedback, communicating departmental changes in procedures, and ensuring the department is up to date with the latest policies and that these are being followed correctly
  • Reporting the team’s productivity, efficiency and productivity to the Operations Manager on a daily basis
  • Managing and planning the Payments team schedule as well as setting equal day to day tasks – ensuring all aspects of the workload are covered within the daily operational needs, spread equally and diversely
  • Mentoring and overseeing the team’s performance with regular coaching
  • Adherence to KPI's for the department - optimizing, adjusting, and reporting when necessary
  • Assisting the Operations Manager when the need arises in different projects such as recruitment and setting departmental KPI's
  • Backing-up Analysts during heavy workloads in case of short staffing

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly knowledgeable in online payments, payments processing, casino and sports betting products
  • At least 3-year experience in payments within the casino and sports betting industry
  • Excellent office skills including knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and relevant functions
  • Must have a proven track record mentoring, coaching and developing team members as well as a team player
  • An excellent communicator in both verbal and written English
  • Familiar with HR and recruiting processes, including conducting interviews and appraisals
  • Must be a real problem-solver who is able to start calm in stressful situations
  • Must be an excellent analytical thinker and could learn new technology/systems quickly
  • High level of organization and time management
  • With great sense of responsibility and care in dealing with confidential information
