A successful and disruptive sports betting company are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join their driven and diverse offices in London.
The Marketing BI Analyst is focused on supporting the marketing team’s data needs by creating KPI’s and actionable insights focused on measuring Recency, Frequency and Value and align these variables to key business internal and external facing metrics.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
Responsible for flagging variances in key metrics and noting the outcome of actions taken by marketing team to reduce negative variances.
Providing key stakeholders with Actionable Insights.
Measuring marketing Efficiencies and creating a Bonus Management process.
Creating efficient propensity models.
Providing the Marketing teams with Promotional Analysis support and tracking and reporting on promotional efficiency; as required by the business (promotional mechanic redemption rate, promotional ROI etc.)
Analysing trends and identifying new player groups based on player transactional behaviour patterns
Managing and developing the player database infrastructures
Assisting in business planning initiatives such as forecasting, budgeting and setting targets.
Working across all brands, marketing channels, networks and territories.
Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements
You will have:
Statistical and Mathematics degree-based qualification
Overall 2 years business analysis experience is ideal
Worked as a business to consumer (B2C) analyst for at least 1 year
Previous work was based on
Worked in a role interfacing with several functional areas especially marketing
Experience gained in a mobile app based B2C environment will be valued
Will consider people from an offline retail background dependent on their level of comfort with online marketing
Experience of building databases infrastructure
Experience of originating bespoke template reports from the data in the database
Advanced XL user
SQL script writing ability
Able to build new reports based on “raw” data from the data warehouse to provide the business with useful perspectives and trends that will enable the teams to meet their goals
Presents their ideas with supporting analytical justification
Pattern seeker when reviewing large data sets
Target driven/Results orientated
Senior management facing experience
Good presentation skills
Experience of working in and an interest in football and/betting
You’re likely to be educated to degree level or equivalent, with excellent communication skills (across all media) and possess the ability to ‘get things done’ in a flexible dynamic organisation without having to rely on line-authority over other team members.
