In addition to solving a regulatory obligation and providing geolocation security technology solutions to detect and circumvent cases of fraud, false data, spoofing and device tampering to comply with geo-compliance regulations. 
About the role - Java Developer
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, technically knowledgeable and analytical Java Developer to join their team and drive their tech product. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant, fast-growing organization in an influential role where, in strong collaboration with the clients, data scientists, engineers and designers, you will shape the future of the Company. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Java, delivering code and knowledge in AWS cloud services to the backend platform which is reliable and enhances the performance of the products.

What you will be doing:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining high-volume    and    low-latency Java applications required for mission-critical systems

  • Work on the full lifecycle of features from design through to production and implementation

  • Work closely with QA and Developer teams whilst also committing to delivering great quality code and to maintain performance consistently

  • Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging

  • Include instrumentation and monitoring aspects in all your code

  • Ensure designs comply with specifications and to the required Company standards

  • Analyze user and client requirements to determine how to translate into Java


What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Java development

  • Expert level in Java programming

  • Experience in database management, Spring Boot, Restful APIs, Docker,

  • Systematic problem-solving approach

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a software development team to time specific deadlines

  • Previous experience working at a Start-up

  • Able to work with minimal supervision

  • Experience working with AWS cloud services (EC2, DynamoDb, Firehose, S3 and etc) / Kubernetes, is a plus
