You will be responsible for delivering the UK growth strategy on a day to day basis. To do this you will need to work closely with members of multiple different departments (product, marketing, and commercial), and be a key driving force behind the UK team.
Key responsibilities:
- Be a key driving force behind the business, grow UK core metrics and deliver strategy to meet financial target
- Ensure alignment, implementation, and execution of plans to deadline across multiple business units
- Inputting in to, and having oversight of, product, marketing, and commercial roadmaps in order to hit targets and add value to the bottom line
- Work closely with rest of UK leadership team to influence strategy and capitalise on opportunities
- Assess the risks and opportunities to hitting/beating KPIs and budget on a day to day basis, and action accordingly
- Support the account management team in creating new sales opportunities, and in commercial conversations, offering insight in to Product and Marketing plans
- Keep up to date with industry trends/news, campaigns, product launches etc
- Responsible for KPI and Operational reporting
Key Skills and abilities:
- Ideally coming from a Sports Affiliate, Sports Media or Sports Publishing background
- An ambitious and driven self-starter, someone who is happy to get stuck in
- Able to work collaboratively, bringing together multiple areas of the business
- A problem solver who makes stuff happen
- Passionate about our business and the industry, to ensure we capitalise on opportunities that exist today/tomorrow
- A strong understanding of digital businesses and the roles of different functions
- Able to balance a varied workload and make quick decisions on prioritisation
