Global Head of Content - Europe Based

This market leading media & marketing agency is seeking a forward thinking , innovative and strategic senior leader to help formulate the company's content strategy across numerous businesses/ brands within the group. This company creates experiences and products that inform and entertain a global audience, providing unparalleled insight and guidance in the sports betting & iGaming sectors. It is rapidly growing, hence the need to recruit this role. 

The group has offices and employees dotted around the globe, and brings to life a network of over 150 products across 50+ countries and 21+ languages. 

Based in the UK ideally (but being based in Europe could work), your focus will be to lead a team of 30 + content managers initially. Although with the expansion plans this company has set in motion, this figure is likely to be nearer to a 100 within a few years.  

You will be tasked with amongst other things: to develop and execute a forward-thinking, innovative and cohesive content strategy that helps to bring useful, world-class content to millions of people. You will work collaboratively with, and be supported by, the senior leadership team within the business. You will also work closely with other key internal stakeholders, including collaborating on a daily basis with some of the leading minds in tech to solve key problems/challenges.

You will inspire your teams to think big, be constantly looking for ways to improve and innovate and explore new opportunities to delight your customers. You will design and implement systems that actively measure, manage, optimize and communicate the performance of the content against the business’s objectives and strategies, ensuring your wins are fully recognized and celebrated. 

To apply, you must be a strategic thinker and thought leader with excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills. You are a brilliant communicator and listener with the ability to clearly identify, articulate and prioritise the strategic and tactical value of your vision and roadmap. You will have solid experience developing and leading teams of world-class content creators, editors and managers across a portfolio of products. You will have experience developing content strategies for global audiences and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure alignment with broader business objectives. You will also need to have experience of working within the iGaming / sports betting sector. 

You have demonstrable leadership and management ability, including mentorship, leading by example, being a team player, inspirational, motivational and great to work with.
