One of the leading sports betting and gambling companies worldwide is seeking a Digital Compliance Manager for their office in the Jersey City, NJ area. This is an exciting and highly visible position in which to partner with the Company’s Operations, Business Intelligence, Payments & Fraud, Marketing, and Product Departments to develop internal controls and research solutions, and to provide compliance analysis and guidance to the teams that create and maintain the Company’s digital platform.
You will represent the Company to regulators; create and complete internal audits; train employees; and develop relationships with external agencies. You will also work with senior leadership, the Legal Department and with external advisors to drive proactive alignment to regulations in New Jersey and other states legalizing sports betting and gambling.
Remaining current with legal rulings, precedent and competitor activity, you will ensure that the digital business is aligned with compliance best practices across the Company’s US operations, to include their retail locations across all states. With the continued expansion of regulated sports betting in the US, you’ll interpret regulatory requirements in new states that legalize digital gambling and manage any team expansion that is required. As Digital Compliance Manager, you will also create a process of marketing communications approval, write jurisdiction-specific promotional terms and conditions, ensure that affiliate agreements and product releases are compliant with applicable gaming regulations, complete weekly audits of Responsible Gaming activities, and perform related duties in a rapidly-evolving regulatory environment.
The successful candidate must possess a law or law-based degree. Experience working in the Casino / Gambling industry in a legal or compliance related role is also required. Other qualifications include:

Specific New Jersey regulation experience is a significant advantage.
