Chief Revenue Officer

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

Location: Remote, office in NY & FL

Compensation: Competitive + Equity



Our client, an innovative fintech company based out of NY, is a high-growth company seeking a Chief Revenue Officer. Their business provides access to an API-driven and SaaS based cryptocurrency compliance platform. This CRO will lead the team through expansion, focusing on b2b accountants, big4, exchanges, tax professionals, and other large firms. Working alongside the CFO and strategy team on the next stages of the business’s evolution. The ideal candidate is an experienced self-starter and leader, passionate about making connections between traditional finance and digital markets that enable growth for all.

This individual will help set the strategic vision for the future of digital, and translate that into actionable, quantitative plans for the overall organization so that they can track and measure performance against overarching strategic objectives. Having a Payments or crypto background crypto is a plus.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee all the commercial/sales functions. Current team - 4 sales staff now

  • Scale the sales activity through new business acquisition

  • Translate the strategy of the organization into actionable, quantitative plans for the commercial function and each operating area of the firm - set budgets, KPIs and track performance

  • Strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Analysis - provide data and key insights to help executives leverage numbers and metrics to tell the organizations story, drive sound business decisions and achieve strategic objectives


  • Support the executive team in making decisions relating to commercial strategy

  • Lead the design and sales team SOPs.

  • Design sales compensation and commission infrastructure.

  • Manage the relationships across key accounts to ensure maximum value is derived from each account

  • Work with senior team members to deliver scaled processes and valuable insights across the business

  • Develop and deliver upon sales KPIs

  • Provide strategic recommendations to the senior leadership team on both short and long-term strategic objectives

  • Competitor analysis

  • Identify and address risks and opportunities for the business

  • Establish and develop relationships with senior management and external partners and stakeholders

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree

  • At least 3 years of previous experience in CRO position or similar

  • Experience in B2B Fintech or another early-stage tech b2b environment

  • Huge sales experience and a hunter mentality!

  • Strong managerial experience with a demonstrable record of successful sales team management

  • An interest in blockchain, digital assets, and the future of decentralized finance

  • Experience in the digital assets industry is a strong preference

  • Ability to work well in an unstructured and fast-paced environment

  • A proven track record of negotiating contracts, business pricing agreements, and/or partnerships

  • Strong analytical skills
