The Opportunity:
Our client is an established and rapidly growing player in the global iGaming space, looking to strengthen its footprint across Africa. This role offers the opportunity to define regional strategy, build high-value partnerships, and lead commercial success in one of the most dynamic emerging markets globally.
This role can be fulfilled fully remotely, however candidates must be based in Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership;
Develop and execute a 3–5 year market entry and expansion strategy for Africa.
Translate strategic objectives into clear annual plans and measurable milestones.
Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and technological developments.
Identify growth opportunities while proactively managing risks.
Business Development & Partnerships;
Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with iGaming operators across Africa.
Leverage existing networks to accelerate market penetration.
Build and maintain strong, long-term partner relationships.
Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and market expansion initiatives.
Operational & Commercial Excellence;
Oversee localisation of products and services to suit regional markets.
Build and lead high-performing regional teams.
Establish scalable processes across onboarding, integrations, and support.
Work closely with central technology teams on integrations, payments, and platform performance.
Candidate Profile:
Senior-level experience within iGaming or a closely related sector.
Strong knowledge of key African markets such as South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria.
Demonstrated success in B2B business development and partnership management.
Established network within African iGaming operators is highly advantageous.
Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks across the region.
Proven experience managing budgets, forecasting, and full regional P&L.
Fluent English, with the ability to operate effectively in international environments.
