Senior Compliance Specialist
A growing iGaming company in Malta are on the lookout for a Senior Compliance Specialist to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and stay updated on legal and regulatory changes across all markets, including AML/CFT requirements.
- Develop, review, and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Manage the Group’s policy portfolio and oversee periodic reviews and compliance monitoring.
- Conduct internal compliance checks, identify gaps, and report findings with improvement recommendations.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, CS, Tech, and Operations teams to ensure new and ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Research and communicate new laws, regulations, and compliance matters impacting the business.
- Ensure timely regulatory reporting, submissions, and notifications across all jurisdictions.
Requirements:
- Strong command of English (German an asset).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Compliance or related roles.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
- Self-driven, reliable, and discreet, with strong ownership of tasks and projects.
- Experience with multiple jurisdictions, especially MGA and Swedish markets.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Provide clear, timely advice on commercial, corporate, labour, and partnership matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements (e.g. supplier, PSP, license, NDA, and marketing).
Advise on IP, licensing, and regulatory issues.
Liaise with external counsel on litigation and compliance matters.
Support M&A activity and help develop internal policies and training.
Requirements
Law degree (LLB; LLM an advantage).
Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years’ experience, ideally in-house.
Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
