THE ROLE AND THE DEPARTMENT:
Reporting to the Head of Central Online Marketing Services, the primary function of the role is to spearhead the international expansion of our member-get-member scheme across Europe and Canada. The International Partnership Manager will be involved in all aspects of the marketing process spanning market research, analysis, strategy, campaign planning, budget management and creative development. The role will be responsible for devising and executing campaigns to drive awareness and to ensure that it continues to be a high ROI channel for the business. The International Partnership Manager will be responsible for generating creative and innovative campaigns capitalising on new and emerging marketing channels and will be tasked with working with key internal stakeholders and external agencies to grow partnerships to establish it as a globally successful member-get-member scheme. Principle to the success of partnerships is to communicate the proposition to existing customers and a key part of the role will be to work with the CRM and Content teams to ensure that partners are getting airtime and promotional inventory to drive the scheme further.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To grow the scheme internationally
  • To deliver cost-effective marketing campaigns that are based around creative and innovative platforms delivering a high payback
  • Working with the Line Manager to spearhead innovation across a platform roadmap with the scope for rapid expansion based on success
  • To monitor and evaluate the campaigns and determine success against agreed targets to include weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI reporting
  • To manage the international budget and to ensure that marketing spend is in line with forecasts and regularly reported and reviewed
  • To expand the scheme through new media channels including social and viral to drive awareness and take-up
  • To ensure campaigns capitalise on spikes in marketing activity and reflect the key brand values
  • To work with Regional Businesses to execute local campaigns
  • To work with key stakeholders across the business including the International CRM Manager, the International CRM team, the Intl Content teams and the Line Manager to drive the expansion

THE MUST HAVES (skills & knowledge):

  • Strong Online Marketing Experience in a consumer-facing business
  • Expert knowledge of the Online arena
  • Experience of delivering cost-effective acquisition/brand marketing campaigns
  • Results oriented individual with a focus on innovation and delivery
  • Strategic thinking and creative problem solving
  • Self-Starter and ability to co-locate (UK/Malta)
  • Experience in working on member-get-member/affinity marketing schemes
