VIP Manager

£45K to £60K (75K AUD to 100K AUD)

Fantastic opportunity for a VIP Manager to join an exciting, well-funded startup that is looking to revolutionise the online gaming industry by introducing well-designed casino games, built on their "provably fair"? algorithms.

The role will be based in Melbourne, Australia.

The primary role of the VIP Manager is to establish and maintain direct relationships with premium customers, and to identify and execute opportunities for customer acquisition and retention, with a view towards maximising profitability and growth of the company.  

  • Foster and maintain relationships with high value customers. (up to 20,000 players daily)
  • Develop and execute customer acquisition and retention programs to achieve set targets. 
  • Increase and retain the Casino customer base by identifying and executing new initiatives and technology, products, promotions and rewards programs. 
  • Monitor competitor activity and realign initiatives to ensure a strong position in market. 
  • Initiate and execute customer promotions to drive participation and increase turnover. 
  • Act as a point for contact for customer allegations. 
  • Maintain relationships with key business partners and key stakeholders across the business. 
  • Provide expertise to guide the development of new competitive initiatives to meet customer expectations. 
  • Conduct post implementation reviews to ascertain project success.  
  • Research market trends to identify growth and retention opportunities and communicate high level market insight to key internal stakeholders. 
  • Implement, communicate and review corporate marketing communication to various customer segments to ensure accuracy of information and alignment with the companies strategic objectives. 
  • Coordination and execution of new product rollouts to various customer segments. 
  • Acquisition of new customers against targets.
  • Increase retention rate of existing customers (account utilisation)
  • Ability to be able to establish and maintain deep relationships with a broad range of customers
  • Results driven with ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • High level of interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Commercial acumen with solid financial analysis skills  
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated capability to negotiate and influence across all levels of business
  • Experience within the gambling industry, with online casino experience advantageous
  • Experience in business development, sales and customer liaison
  • Proven strengths in building and maintaining relationships
  • Experience developing and executing tailored customer promotions to drive participation
  • Proven ability to generate alternative solutions to satisfy customer needs.
  • The ability to analyse a customer base and make recommendations to deliver growth
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Power point, Internet).
