UX Designer
Job Purpose:
The role of Junior UX Design is to provide support to the Customer Experience Manager and the CX
team in delivering innovative user experiences and user interfaces, providing in-depth studies of
user behaviour and assisting in designing journeys that lead to increased conversion rates.
Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work with the Information Architect to work through the UX process, including the creation of
high, medium and low-fidelity wireframes, prototypes and site flows
• Work with the User Research Specialist to develop personas, organise local & remote user
testing, produce analysis and reports from observed user behaviour, survey customers and
conduct analysis of competitor websites
• Work with the Conversion Specialist to optimise conversation rates through analysing and
editing the journeys of visitors to the site and to conversion goals
Skills & Qualifications:
• Ability to work to defined briefs
• Ability to complete tasks to tight deadlines
• A proactive self-starter and team player
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels
• Understanding of the UX process
• Understanding of user research
Knowledge & Experience:
• Degree-level qualification (in a relevant subject i.e. Web Design, Graphic Design, Marketing,
Web Development) or 1-2 years’ relevant experience
• A proven ability in the use of the following;
• Adobe Photoshop
• Wireframing tool, such as UXPin, Balsamiq, etc.
• Mac & PC Operating Systems
• Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Marketing metric reporting tools
• Beneficial knowledge:
• HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Understanding of the betting industry
• Additional languages
