IT Systems Engineers Required for Isle of Man
(Windows Server Applications, MCSE 2012, SQL server track, knowledge of virtualisation technologies and IT infrastructure (servers, networking and storage)
Ideally with qualifications in MCSA and RHCSA or CCENT
My client, on the beautiful and tax efficient Isle of Man are a major player in the iGaming sector and looking for a number of key people to bolster their already significant team in Systems and Software Engineering.
My client are looking for IT Systems Engineers of the highest calibre to provide additional technical expertise across multiple products and platforms.
As IT Engineer you will be responsible for: -
Ensuring the availability of products and services
Minimising interruption during routine maintenance or upgrade work
Responsible for the correct operation and recovery of hardware and software systems
Liaise with operators, developers and third party providers to establish effective testing and implementation procedures
Resolving support issues with internal and external clients
Develop and maintain productive client relationships and be bold enough to tackle problem resolution head on
Critically, you will be an original thinker, wanting to continually learn and develop your skills whilst immersing yourself in this role.
Skills and Experience
Core requirements you'll need to be successful include: -
Database knowledge and experience
In depth experience of SQL
Fantastic Windows Server applications experience
Virtualisation technologies and IT infrastructure to include servers, networking and storage.
MCSE 2012 (SQL server track) is desirable
Great communication skills and the ability to converse with both tech and non-tech people
Great attention to detail and able to manage multiple deadlines and perform under pressure when required.
