The Business Intelligence Analyst will be primarily responsible for developing, maintaining and evolving a suite of reports, both for internal usage and external clients, in order to gain deep and actionable insight into the performance of all areas of the business.

The role will also be responsible for delivering various other forms of ad hoc and ongoing analysis and reporting such as the study of customer behaviours and preferences, country, demographic and marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing the reporting suite (for internal use and external clients) across the business, comprising of dashboards, parameterized and scheduled reporting
  • ‘Bring data to life’ by delivering actionable insights into the performance across the business and to clearly communicate opportunities to key stakeholders
  • Work closely with the IT teams to integrate data from internal databases, 3rd party systems and variety of other sources as a prerequisite for the creation of reporting, and to help with the reconciliation of data to ensure it is accurate, standardised and easily available
  • Train multiple stakeholders to use the reporting and dashboards produced in an optimal manner
  • Help to identify, assess, integrate and ensure the optimal use of new reporting and analytical tools to enhance the overall suite and insight into the business

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential

  • A 2:1 or above from a good university, preferably in a degree with a statistical focus (mathematics, economics etc.)
  • Strong data manipulation skills:  ability to help handle and process large data sets and produced condensed reports.
  • Strong data interpretation skills: ability to extract key details from a vast volume of data and highlight insights, gaps, opportunities and recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel: pivots, complex functions, report building, data manipulation   
  • Strong SQL skills and experience in combining multiple data sources in order to deliver analysis
  • Knowledge of customer level interrogation techniques (profiling, regression, clustering)

Advantageous

  • Experience and knowledge of using leading BI Tools (preferably Qlik suite)
  • Experience and knowledge of web analytics tools
  • Experience and knowledge of leading CRM systems: reporting, creating derived fields and complex selections
  • Interest and knowledge of the online gambling industry
