The General Manager aligns operations to the company’s strategic plans, and manages the finance, marketing, commercial, human resources and operational teams effectively and sustainably. The role involves the generation of new business and the development of innovative solutions to local and international clients to achieve growth and to meet commercial goals.
By working closely with the operations team, the General Manager leads the planning, organisation, and co-ordination of the company. In liaison with Human Resources, the General Manager ensures that well-trained, motivated and customer-centric management and technical teams are in place. The General Manager builds trust with the team while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including external stakeholders and key partners.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum five years’ experience in a senior management role, preferably gained in the information technology industry.
The chosen candidate will be able to demonstrate a solid track record driving business growth and excellence in customer service; have a clear understanding of emerging information technologies and their application; be able to lead a dynamic team in a competitive environment; and will possess strong decision-making and communication skills, leadership qualities and business acumen to develop both the business and its people.
