Bruce started in the recruitment industry in 1991 and spent several successful years as a recruiter with international consultancy, Computer People PLC. During his tenure he account-managed the recruitment of IT staff into the Bank of America, Visa International, Cap Gemini, and Ernst & Young alongside colleague, Rob Dowling.
In 1999 Bruce established a division for Mortimer Alexander Knight & Charles Executive Search & Selection by recruiting a select team of six former colleagues. Key clients included Credit Suisse, First Boston, Deutsche Bank, Verizon, and start-up company, The Sporting Exchange, now known as Betfair. After some key pre and post launch placements into Betfair, Bruce and his colleagues started recruiting for a number of other newly established online poker and casino operators, some of whom are now international market leaders.
Recognising the recruiting potential of this high growth sector, Bruce and his business partner Rob Dowling established Pentasia in 2001 to focus purely on the high growth niche of iGaming. Today, Bruce manages the UK head office and key international retained search assignments for boardroom directors and officers within start-up and publicly listed companies.
